Satopanth Tal Trek · Itinerary
Drive through scenic hill towns witnessing Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi). Stop at Dhari Devi Temple. Arrival in Joshimath for briefing, gear check, and Nanda Devi views.
Drive to Badrinath (~2 hrs), then trek 9 km via Vasudhara Falls. Pass through lush meadows with views of Nar Narayan, Balakun, and Mana peaks.
Trek 9 km through boulder paths and streams. Reach Sahasradhara (“thousand waterfalls”). Panoramic views of Chaukhamba massif, Nilkanth, and Shiv Parvati peaks.
The most challenging day. 10 km round trip on steep moraine/ice to reach the sacred triangular lake. See Chaukhamba reflections before descending back to camp.
Trek down to Mana Village (“First Indian Village”). Visit Badrinath Temple, Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa. Drive back to Joshimath.
Morning ceremony with completion certificate and parting gift. Drive back to Rishikesh (~250 km).
